Strategic Cooperation

CEPRI has actively implemented “Globalization” strategy, and engaged in the exchange and cooperation with fortune global 500 companies and other prestigious international partners. It also dedicates itself to promoting technical cooperation between universities and scientific research institutions, with a view to improving R & D in such key technological fields as UHV transmission, smart grid, and secure and stable operation of bulk power grid. Meanwhile, CEPRI conducted several overseas R &D and investment activities.

To establish complementary cooperation partnership: CEPRI has established partner relationships for strategic cooperation with internationally renowned companies, research institutes, and universities such as the IREQ, ESI, EDF R&D, AREVA, UoS, and CRIEPI, etc.

To conduct testing, inspection and certification business: CEPRI actively carried out cooperation with renowned testing and inspection agencies, such as the TUV SUD, DNV GL, and UL,  to promote substantive cooperation in the fields of power automation, high voltage equipment, and transmission tower.

To impel joint research programs and projects: CEPRI has conducted in-depth cooperation with world-leading companies and research bodies, such as Toshiba, GE, IBM, Cisco, Alstom Group, NCAR(U.S. National Center for Atmospheric Research), and ADI, EDF R&D,  and UoS  on smart grid, big data, smart substation, microgrid, energy efficiency, energy storage, cloud computing, ICT, HVDC, and protection equipment technologies, and set up a number of joint laboratories.

To assume the Inter-governmental and non-governmental projects: Since 2000, CEPRI has taken a dozens of inter-governmental projects and World Bank, Asian Development Bank or natural science foundation sponsored projects, with governments like the United States, Britain, Germany, Denmark and France. The main cooperation projects are as followed:
